I am Adriana Monteagudo, a 24-year-old visual artist and teacher based in Miami, Florida. My work centers people and the natural world.

I’ve continued developing my practice over the years, and this is where I share my work - I hope it piques your interest.

HISTORY

I have been drawing since the young age of 8, where I made my very first portrait (of my father). Since then, I’ve always had a deep passion for art.

At around 15 years old, I began studying at MIFA (formerly known as Chiaroscuro Atelier). Here is where passion turned into skill.

Under the careful guidance of expert artists Elkin Cañas, Milixa Morón, and Carlos Martinez-Leon, I studied the painting techniques of the 19th century and unlocked my potential for depicting realistic subjects.
